Miscellaneous Information:

SIERRA VISTA — For residents experiencing breathing problems due to smoke from the Monument Fire, Dr. Georges Youseff of Cochise Lung Center has made a list of simple steps to keep respiratory problems to a minimum. Keep any medications handy; use nasal saline irrigations regularly and more frequently; and use moisturizing eyedrops, such as, “Natural Tears.” For people working outdoors consider wearing a face mask or a damp cloth, but it is suggested that all outdoor activities be minimized. For people suffering from asthma and nasal/sinus symptoms you are recommended to implement your “self management plan,” and step-up care to the “Yellow Zone.”
