The Bisbee Farmers Market Report for May 14, 2011

This week the report has information about the Bisbee Fiber Arts Festival, which will take place during the market. Nowhere Man and A Whiskey Girl will be the musical accompaniment through the morning and the Alpacas are here!!

Local Goods Available

The Annual Fiber Arts Festival is open for business from 8 AM to 1 PM presented by the Bisbee Fiber Arts Guild. Plus, the Alpacas are here!

Local Produce Available

Jim Montoya's nopalitos and garlic shoots, Supernatural Organics watermelons, Tweenstone Farms greens and turnips, Keith and Billy Johnson's leeks, onions, garlic, broccoli, and lettuce, as well as organic vegetables and herb plants from Bob and Marlene at the Desert Blossom booth, and native plants from Spadefoot Nursery's Petey Mesquitey.

Local Meats Available

Dennis Maroni will have grass-fed beef, lamb, and goat at the Sky Island Booth and the Tabor's Booth will once again have Emu and Yak meat available.

Food Vendors

Juliet Beaumont's sourdough varieties will be available along with candies from the MacDonald Pecan Orchard. Elvia's back, Chile Rellenos from Tucson will be there, and Ecoasis is serving all local foods to eat at the market.
